bake-athon.

hello peeps.
I'm back again after the long silence.
Another project came out so concentration has been put more on those projects.

alright,

before I start, I would like to welcome my favorite month; Juney~
few days had passed by and today is already 5th June,
I must say, today is Daddy's birthday, and also the unofficial and in advance of my birthday.
I've been receiving lots of birthday messages on this day.
I don't blame.. People might get confused between me and Daddy's birthday.

So here, I commemorate Daddy's birthday by making own Alphabetical Chocochip Cookies.

"Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you so much!"

hehehe..
alright then.
so for the rest of the night (4th June),
me and my sister made the day by throwing a so-called bake-athon.
actually those are to be sent to Kuching since my uncle is here.
mama is craving for the things we baked.
so we decided to stop mama from drooling more day by day with these..

hmm.. before the bake-athon started,
I would like to show what have ku big done for the past few days.
these would be ku big's masterpiece on Apam bintik..
I would prefer calling it as Poisonous mushroom with jam-filled rice cupcakes.
and the next is banana cake. Seriously, the banana turned out to be purple and the outcome really mesmerized us.
she made sorbet the other day, using blueberry.
so this was her first attempt for dairy peppermint ice-cream.
I love peppermint but too bad the taste of milk kinda destroyed my sense.
so in the end ku big had to modify just to get rid of the excessive taste of the milk.
alright.
Bake-athon starts!
my cupcakes.
I supposed to add some cocoa powder but I prefer the color to be like this.
and I should have decorate them with fondants, but I think the chocolate chips made stunning appearance already.
oho.. In the mean time of baking,
I just couldn't stop thinking of my so-called korean boyfriend.
hahahahahah..
Lee Jin Wook, one of the cast for Glass Castle.
don't you think he's adorable?

I made my cupcakes in the morning so the kitchen won't be so cramp in the evening.
This is mummy's kuih lapis, innovated with slices of banana.
yummy~
for those interested, my mummy also caters for breakfast and high-tea. (only for KK-ians..)

continued by ku big's brownies.
It was a bit unstable due to some technical error. hehe..
but the taste is there, no worries.
the looks can always deceive the taste.

-sticky bun-
uh-huh! the hot stuff! according to ku big, this is one of the madness or addiction when they were staying in New Hampshire once upon a time before. So I would say this is a famous bun from the west. maybe those who stayed at USA or England would know this.

hmm..
I just couldn't comment further on this.
Looks hideous huh?
hahaha.. it was actually out first attempt.
baking own buns.
it was so damn sticky and I doubt if that sticky-ness would work.

hmm..and this would be daddy's birthday fruit cake.

in the mean time of baking..
there was an accident.
the blood had flooded the sink.

the victim?

yours truly..

a cut by the margarine can.
I suppose this would be the greatest birthday gift.

hmmm..

anyhow..
the bake-athon ended with,

and all of them has been delivered to Kuching exept for the fruit cake ;)

so I guess, that is all about our madness in baking.
I should stop now.
