Salam peeps,
Just to struggle to finish my updates on the Journey to South. So this is actually our 4th day stay at South, which is after coming back from the Lion City.
15th September, Sunday
i still remember it was raining that morning. i woke up quite late since i was still exhausted. we couldn't get any breakfast that morning due to the rain. So waited for Mr SQE to come since he said he was already on his way. Upon his arrival to the hotel, we checked out from the hotel straight.
they actually did provide breakfast but it looks kinda creepy for me. i didn't not bother to check what did they serve but looking afar, only the staffs themselves enjoying the morning meal.
so we made our way to breakfast at some nearby stall in a small village and a police station, not sure what's the name but i guess credits should be given. love my meal. i think the owner of this stall originally came from the East Coasts. Why? they sell nasi kerabu, nasi dagang and nasi lemak. i mean, not typical southerns would sell those meals right? hehe..
we supposed to head for Tanjung Piai. i've always wanted to go there because it is tail of the peninsular. i've been to Simpang Mengayau (Tip of Borneo, Kudat) so i would definitely wish to go to the southernmost point of Peninsular. but too bad kak airin refused to go there since will be a distance of walking and she is not fit for that. :) we went to Desaru Beach instead since she has never been there. I've been there twice; with my family back in 2007 and with Mr SQE in 2012. i know it's a very distance one so a short stay would just not worth your time. :)
it was raining very heavy that day. but we still continued our journey.
so we reached there after almost 2 hours of drive. the entrance fee is RM2.
our footwear. he was worry to see me walking in the sand with that shoes. so he end up buying me a new slipper. hehe. thanks dear :)
too bad we didn't really take pictures there due to the rain. i did not bother to take peepy to walk under the rain with me. we stayed for just half an hour there. before we decided to leave for Muar, we changed our plan to go for malls. (don't ask me why or else i'll munch you). it was really lucky for him to take the wrong exit so we missed JPO (Johor Premium Outlet).. so we ended up wandering in JB City Square. We had our late lunch there. If you happened to stuck at City Square, there is a new food court (Dapur Kita - If i'm not mistaken) at 5th Floor, i guess. they have lots of choices but all of us decided to have sizzling :) i am here to remind you that all the kiosks do not accepts cash, instead they only accept the so called debit card which you have to "rent" from the counters. Don't worry, the leftover will be refunded so just make sure you reload with sufficient amount. they will deduct RM3 for the card deposit, and of course refundable.
after lunch. it was kinda late for us to leave for Muar. it was already 5pm and the sky was a bit dark.
yup, i always selfie with the three of us, the fourth person was right behind me so i was not that keen to adjust myself.
taraa. we reached Muar like 7pm something.. but we could not get our way to our hotel. it was really confusing even i have the navigation. luckily my old buddy, Cadence was there. not exactly there because she and her husband were on their way back to Muar from Kedah. i told her i couldn't get to the hotel and we were like getting ourselves round and round and round. finally, she came to our savior!
me and Cadence @Nur Sabrina Cadence Tay. Saudara baru ya :) Thanks for the help babe!
so our hotel (Elite Hotel) situated just on top of Old Town White Coffee. there's a mall nearby but i couldn't remember the name. we had our bath and get ourselves ready to be picked up by... non other than Kak Zah and family.
this is kak zah. she is funny.
Mr SQE and Abg Zam :)
okay, we went to Kak Zah house after that. of course it was not Mr SQE who drove us. they came to pick us up.
kak zah and dzul
Yasmeen. Daddy used to call her Pipit when she was a baby.
had dinner at their house. i enjoyed the food since i get to eat mummy's cooking food like ampap. not forgetting the killer appetizer - Bambangan!! perghhh.. the coolest thing is abg zam and kak zah really followed daddy's footstep. there's always a torture to a "new friend" coming to us. So this time, Mr SQE was the victim. They "made" him ate three plates of rice. MEMANG ANAK DADDY BETUL! :D
the purpose of us coming to Muar was to visit Kak Zah and family. Kak zah was kibby's boss back in Sandakan. they are very close to us and that made them anak angkat daddy and mummy. :)
16th September, Monday
we had our morning walk around the small town of Muar. it was really a small town that reminded me of Sandakan. we were looking for 7E since kibby needs something, and we also bought some buns and canned drinks to fill our empty tummy.
we went around to look for restaurants and ended up get ourselves here.
it was 10am and they have already served rice. i would say the food was just so so. all of us ate rice.
rabbit kuyus :p he used to put his facebook name as Gigi Arnab last time. :D
rabbit chichomei. hehe.
we spent like half an hour there, nothing much to see. then we walked around and we stopped by the mall near to our hotel. kehkehkeh. (bergaya mo nek kreta kan..)
then, it was 11 something and kak zah and her family already on their way to meet us. they were leaving to seremban that morning. we got back to our rooms and checked out!
we actually planned to go to Air Hitam but i think kibby and Mr SQE knew that i always wanted to go to Melaka, so they made my dream came true! hehe.. kesian mmoi kan? baru laa mo sampai Melaka. Thanks Kibby, thanks busyuk.. :) so..we berpisah when we reached the exit to Melaka whilst Kak zah made their way straight to Seremban.. :)
kehkehkeh. so tadaaaa..
i finally was in Melaka. though it was a short, short and shortttt stay. i feel happy and grateful that the person i love brought me brought me there! hehe.. thanks again to busyuk for taking us there, and thanks kibby for approving. hehe
i am not sure why am i soooo eager to go Melaka. maybe because i used to be near there but i never get the chance to visit. too bad we didn't get to try the famous asam pedas, cendol and Klebang coconut shake. next time, it is :)
so we were here, not sure what do they call here. but i think it was the midpoint. so i'll just let the pictures to do the talking ok ;)
he gave kibby the keychain as kibby's birthday gift. awww
funny when he kept asking me if i want some hat because of the heat and hot day. but i refused it. i know he was realllly into something. hehe. he wanted to get me something so that i will always remember Melaka, also our memory in Melaka.
"dont worrry dear, i will always remember Melaka because it was you who took me there :).. thanks for making my dream come true. you know how i always wanted to go there. and you brought me the keychain. it's on my wall and it's my motivation. thanks dear busyuk!"
heheh
kehkehkeh. that's all from from our trip to Muar and Melaka.
