2013 Getaway - Langkawi

Salam Peeps! I just came back from my vacation with family. UHUUUU. FUN yet tiring. We really did explore the whole island. I think i can drive there, different route but will definitely direct you to the same destination. lalala. But, first of all,

I would like to say, Hellooo Ramadhan! Time flies so fast that we have already left the first half of the year, and the Holy month is here already.. Let's us make use of this Holy month with lots of Ibadah and good deeds.

By the way, Salam Ramadhan..Happpppy Fasting and Happy Terawihh!

So this year is just the same as my previous years.. I had my early fasting days here in Gambang.. non place like others. hikhikhik. Lucky me got bekal from dear mummy. so for time being, food is not an issue for me :D

Alright, i shall start my story on my vacation to Langkawi Island. It was a 6days and 5 nites stay. We really took the opportunity to explore the places of attraction there.  We rented a homestay in Taman Nilam, and also an Avanza. the facilities they provided were tiptop! if you intend to go there, please do not hesitate to try this homestay. Eylizar Homestay You can definitely bargain for great price.

so on 3rd July, (Happy Birthday Celes and Nana :D), I made my way to the Metropolitan City and met my family at the KLIA. not forgetting this small cinonet. I have something to hand over, hence made a short date with her too. (Actually, she misses me so much that she want so much to meet me.. hahahahah)

Ya, we are all sisters. Including her. She's my family too!
When we daughters got into our madness with pictures,
mothers have their own agenda. kekekeke. daddy just sat in front and make fun of us :D

Boarding time. We were waiting for the plane. Everyone was already in holiday mode!

Got on board! We sisters most essential activity. Parents? Honeymoon at the front row. me and ku na were really loyar buruk that day. lupak makan ubat la katanya.. from above we could see a part of the island, and we were amazed by the Island's beauty. *Orang sakai memang macam ni..* 

Nothing much happened on the first day since we reached Langkawi at 1930 hours (Flight delayed), got our car and made our way to the homestay first. then, made our way to Pekan Kuah for dinner. if i'm not mistaken, its Saujana Seafood.. Yarabbi.. the seafood was FRESH. i tell you ah, i ate shrimps and fish, and chicken. amazingly, my skin was fine. Mummy enjoyed the food there, and that means we can adapt with the food there. I ate a lot but i didn't gain any. kekekeke. too much of amazing race i guess?

4th July

( fourthseventwelve - one year since presentation d Istanbul. wahh. rindu naik teleferik sana doe!)

okay, this was on thursday. We had brekkie at one restaurant. their food was cheap and nice. mummy daddy really loved to visit there again. Sangat serasi la katakan.. First on the list was Beras Terbakar, nothing much there. It's just you need visit the place since you are already there. It was raining that day, the initial plan was to go Island Hoping. Hence, we changed our plan to Beras Terbakar due to the heavy rain.. It was situated just near the airport. surely you won't sesat one la... We did a little bit of shopping there. Me? ada banker. alMaklumlah. sia kan student. kehkehkeh... (No pictures available).

Then, we made our way to Pantai Cenang. Ada apa dengan Pantai Cenang?? Yaa.. UnderWaterworld Langkawi (UWL). lalalalalala..(Omo.. ternyata i'm really mutated dengan bahasa pantai timur. i can hardly understand depa cakap utagha.. LOL. maap ya. sia memang fail o. tapi lamak2 ok jgk la, sedar diri berada di negeri Utagha..)

lalala. yours truly. gigih jadi photographer. not many pictures in my tab. bila camera da blk kk, hence we wait for Org KK upload yaa. lalalalala. So many sea living creatures inside. mostly was visited by foreigners and the place was flooded by them! so many people coming even during weekdays. the best part was when ku nena had a shot with a Python named Si Cantik. eww. geli geleman den..

haaa. ni la Si Cantik. cantik ka? meremang den. Cantik kunun sebab batik dia memang cantik. wek. mo muntah dengar. tu belum lagi tengok boyfie dia. Nama? lagi kerlas. Diamond. sebab dia batik kuning & bersinar-sinar. ndak snap pun gamba dorg. blh snap, tapi bsedia la dgn kemungkinan Mr Peepy jatuh atas lantai. sia tia mo amik risiko itu, sia jadi budak baik.

After UWL, we made our way to Makam Mahsuri. Situated somewhere in Padang Matsirat. Gosh.. Meremang bulu roma seh! Mummy belum apa2 lagi sudah nangis. *Aigoo..* Sebak.. yaa, mothers, perhaps we ladies just can't hold our tears when we read the stories of her life. tengok makam dia nangis.. everything la..sempat jugak sedekahkan Al-Fatihah. mummy daddy wanted so much to go there again someday. 

I am actually not really good with history. dulu masa form 4 memang cemerlang la sebab suma pasal sejarah Islan kan? masuk form 5 sejarah memang KIOK. sepa suka politik o. muntah sia.

Mahsuri's life tale really caught our attention. We were discussing in the car with lots of edition. when we reached there, we then understand what was it all about. "Mahsuri was a victim of treachery and jealousy by her own in-law, hence she was sentenced to death when her husband left for war."

this is actually Mahsuri's real house. cantik kan? kalau ikut sejarah dia, her father left the house after her death.. ada
perigi lagi depan umah ni.. maap ya, nadai picture. suma dalam Mr Peepy. tia bawak lappy jadi nadai transfer. *sapa mo bwk lappy pergi vacay anyway?*

We left Makam Mahsuri with a sorrow feeling heading back home.. mummy balik-balik nangis ni... da sedih-sedih sokseksoksek, pekena Cendol Pulut. *phuih.. kin panas.. cendol dia guna susu sebab santan habis..* U KNOW HOW BISING MY MULUT WANTING SO MUCH MAKAN MAKHLUK NI. SEMANGAT NI ORDER, skali dia sebut SUSU. muka hampagas terus. tolak sama daddy. merajuk tahap kritikal.hahah

that night, had our dinner at Seafood Pak Hassan. It was near the iCity area heading to the jetty near Eagle Square..(jangan ingat Shah Alam, Tganu and Perak jak ada.. Langkawi pun adaa..). after that day, nekad order nasi goreng kampung. lalalala. memang sedap la kunun.. after dinner, balik umah. KIOK. Dozed off and ready for the next adventure.

5th July

lalalala. awal-awal sudah berjalan. okay, ikut plan asal lagi.. second day should be our Mangrove Trip. tapi sebab bulum pg island hoping lagi. maka ari itu kami pergi la Island Hoping. tapi before that...

pigi dulu sana tempat tu helang. eksen-eksen mo picture. (Motif apa pigi sana awal pagi)..

Rupanya ada surprise dari Ongkol.. well actually my brother in-law la.. erk? ada abang ipar sudah.kekekeke ceh. Mmoi n Mbig knew already. My bro in-law saja mo kasi surprise.

haa. dia pun tia mo kalah dengan Ku Moi yang bagi suhprise grand. oklaa. mummy nangis jugak la tengok dia. terlampau happy jumpa menantu jauh. lalalala. sudah jumpa, harusla picture-picture kan?

kehkehkeh. ni posing mama helang tengah ajar baby helang mo fly. how to fly? my sayap bingkuk ni. :( yaa. maap. kurang kesononohan sebab amik gmbar punggung c helang. kehkehkeh. tunggu laa siapa2 upload gambar dlm Mr Peepy tu. seksa jiwa raga tunggu o.

we sisters. yalaaa. ku na and kibby more alike.. Mmoi jugak sesat. Arwah Bapak Aji always cakap, dulu bapak pungut ko sama nenek cina. uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. tapi macam tu la joke dia bila kta punya muka ndak sama dengan adik beradik lain.

wuuu. so many people say Ku na looks exactly like mummy. me? ikut daddy. to be specific daddy's side. aigoo. ba ndak pa la. daddy hensem jugak :D

this time masing-masing da paired up. daddy and mummy, ku na and ongkol honeymoon. me and kibby? vacation laa apalagi.. tia banyak gambar. daddy marah kasi klua tab and camera. air masingg kan. ohh.. mummy punya emosi pun ndak brapa tenang. orang lain huha tengok kecantikan alam, mummy plak nangis teringat Mahsuri. tengok mummy, ternangis jugak..

okay, that day was raining also. but just drizzling rain. so the plan was still on. we chartered the whole boat for RM250. the actual price was RM300. you can nego the price with kakak homestay. that's what i did.  I even asked her to arrange for our mangrove trip too.. if you go by per pax, they will charge RM35/pax. Almost the same actually. Alang-alang take one boat. 

We went hoping at 4 islands;

the first island.. Pulau Beras Basah. (ada Beras Terbakar so mesti ada Beras Basah kan?) oh. Beras Terbakar tu ada kesinambungan dengan kisah Mahsuri jugak tauk.. semua memang berkaitan.

1.  Pulau Beras Basah : We stopped here for one hour. and it was really pretty awesome i tell you! we had fun feeding the monkeys but one thing, they don't have toilets there. then, waited for our boat to come, made our way to watch Eagle feeding.

2. Eagle Feeding at Pulau Singa Besar and Pulau Singa Kecil. lalalala. there were so many eagles flying. amazed and astonished. gila syiok tengok dorang terbang sana sini. ada dua jenis klo ndak silap. ada yang putih and brown. sangat cantik ok? daddy and kibby berlawan mo snap gambar helang terbang. end up daddy kalah sebab kibby kasi video. hahahha..

3. Pulau Dayang Bunting. wahhh. ni yang betul-betul menduga kekuatan and iman.hahaha. the monkeys here more aggressive than those in Pulau Beras Basah. pantang nampak plastik mesti sambar. kalah-kalah lagi helang yang sambar. kekeke. sini.. aduhaiii. kena jalan and turun naik tangga. perjalanan selama 10 menit yaa ibu-ibu. mummy kan ada sakit lutut. mula-mula ndak kompiden. tapi alhamdulillah, mummy made it! serious santiki jo! (don't worry, sini ada toilet)

Lake of Pregnant Maiden - Tasik Dayang Bunting.

(aii. janganla tanya gambar. tab sia teda gambar punn). air dia biru keijauan. we didn't soak ourselves in the water pun. ramai orang arab sana ada la buat acara swimming. ada yang buat telematch jugak i think? (kerlas ko dorang datang all the way from Arab just for team building for youngsters, ko ada?) so we only soaked our kaki into the water. aghhhhhh. syiok seh. kibby sempat rompak sikit air. utk kiriman la. some people said those yang lamak kawen tapi bulum ada anak, boleh try minum air dia..InShaaAllah la.. jadi c lovebird @ pengantin baru ada minum jugak i think..

haa. we were on the water for 4 hours. it was reallllllly tiring. seriously tiring and exhausting. naik bot pun bumpy worhh macam jalan atas tar. balik tu ada aksi surfing kunun-kunun. 

haa. after that, tummy sudah nyanyi lagu keroncong. dunno where to get rice at that hour when knowing there is no ala carte food served at that hour. since daddy mo tukar baju (sempit kekekek) di Beras Terbakar.. pigi laaa sana lagi... tuptap.. oh. ada jual sup. okay, masing-masing memang macam pirana kelaparan.hahaha. i ordered Cendol lagi.. hampagas skali lagi when she said they use milk instead of santan. merajuk tahap kritikal tolak sama daddy. hmm. but it tastes nice tho. doesn't taste like milk. but still, i was really cautious. kurik ice jak. the rest, daddy finish.

i am known as si tukang sesat. well, that me when driving in KL especially. (eleh.. sesat-sesat pun explore tempat baru ok...) but that day, i ought to direct kibby to our next pitstop; Langkawi Wildlife Park. it was actually bird park? tapi yala. banyak animals sana. syiokkkk. get to feed those babies. tengok python yang tunggu masa mo ngap orang. yekk. ada burung mam on my head. lalala.. (so sorry no pictures.. gambar dalam ipad and tab masing-masing pun dorg ndak upload. mo buat pekasam kali)

I luv wabbbitssss. chibaby betul! i luv this the most. suma makanan kasi dorg. oh ada kambing, nama dia meme. hantu makan jgk. sampai tu newspaper pun dia mo bedal o.

ah.. bila balik.. rupanya baru tauk itu bird park just few meters from our homestay. cis la. ini la bila explore jalan jauh. hehe. tia salah kan? malam.. we had dinner at Saujana Seafood lagi.. and then, tapau nasi goreng kampung at Seafood Pak Hassan, (mummy angau with the nasi goreng there.kekekeke)

6th July

(Happy birthday Cah)

we went for our Mangrove Trip.. kak liza guide us to the other jetty, i think near Pantai Rhu. it's a private area, kunun..okla.. actually price is RM250 tapi dengan kemahiran tawar menawar Mmoi, i got it for RM200, chartered the whole boat also. 

that day.. i was not feeling well so was not really enjoying the first few hours. hehe. bad kan? i didn't really pay attention to the places he brought us. but i remembered we passed by, bekas kilang arang, went for Eagle feeding also..this time daddy pun ndak mo kalah. mo video jugak. tapi yala. ndak semeriah d Pulau Singa Kecil and Pulau Singa Besar. after that, we stopped by Gua Buaya.. rugi ndak boleh masuk sebab air pasang.. lagipun atap bot dia tinggi, jadi memang ndak boleh masuk la. limpas-limpas jak. sama cantik jugak macam island lain punya environment. mother nature. memang cantik teda bandingan kan? limpas lagi floating restaurants. wah, sudah simpan cita-cita bedal lobster and fresh prawns.

before we had our lunch, we stopped by Gua Kelawar? omooo. gelap dalam tu, mo picture ndak dapat. Mr Peepy ndak nampak. even jalan pun ndak dapat okey? gunala flash Mr Peepy jd torchlight. skali suluh atas, nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. banyak nya kelawar tengah sleeeep. heheh stopped there for only 15minutes. then, made our way to floating restaurant.

yaaaa. kibby caught the biggest lobster, and few fresh prawns. nagis nagis dengar harga. hence, pembaziran tidak boleh dilakukan. semua makanan lishinnnnnnnnnnnnnnn masuk perut. (kunun sakit tapi 2 piring jgk.hahahahah) apa boleh buat, harga macam itu jangan bazir. bazir itu amalan syaitonnnn kan? :p

sudah habis bermangrove.. pigi tempat tu Haji Ismail's outlets. nah. sopim chocolatesssss bagai gilaa. tho i don't have cash with me. keinginan to own M&M's dispenser yang terlalu membuak-buak made me swipe my card. NEhiiiiii. haha.. there is where i got my baby, Ground Kah Chang @ AhChang and also Se Tar Bucks @ Ah Bucks. haha. gelas tu gift from kibby. thanxxx kibbby! :D

macam budak-budak gila menan. Ah Chang ni kan. menduga kesabaran betul time posa. si Ah Bucks ndak berapa..

7th July.

Happppy birthday dear Mummmmy.

we hope you enjoyed the vacation.

mummy celebrated this year's birthday at 700 ft above sea level ya?punya semangat naik cable car ni. oh, cable car finally operating after maintenance. Gandingan Ku Moi and Kibby memang hebat dapat cari jalan. belasah sana sini. oh lupak. before that. this time ktorg jadi berlima balik sebab ongkol sudahhh balikk.. For sure ada adegan ujan kejap. kesian ba laki bini ni. PJJ. next ongkol will pulang kk for raye. raye. raye. 

we were at the peak! just the four of us la.hehe daddy gayat. im sure daddy really couldn't cope with the height. even i was also terrified. mo nangis pun ada. bayangkan.. you put your life on a thick cable to carry you from one station to another. ndak rasa macam nyawa ilang kejap? oho. bukan kejap. i told mummy my pundi kencing ndak tauk pigi mana sudah. butul-butul tinggi. mo tgk bwh pun takut jo!

hah.. this is the highest peak. sudah la itu pundi kencing ilang. nasib baik sempat kasi kosong itu pundi di atas sana. klo ndak, mo terkucil di tengah jalan.hhhah

haaa. this was the early bird. suma semangat. daddy tu mesti dup dap dup dap..daddy bilang, ini la mainan kamu suma. eishh.. TROLOLOL. bagusla aktiviti ekstrim gini daddy. kaaa mo ktorg borong sakan d Idaman Suri? nangis nanti :p

so on the fourth day, we did a LIL shopping at Idaman Suri. yaa. Idaman Suri rumah tangga. gila. this is heaven for households. kalau la sudah ada rumah kan, memanggggggg sia borong barang-barang sana. nangis jo.. daddy geleng-geleng kepala tengok ktorg sopim. takut.. hahhaa. well.. ktorg beli pun.. utk rumah. suma org pakai maa.. 

8th July.

time to go home..flight from Langkawi to Kl was 10am, so reached KL at 11 something. we were like so bored waiting for our next flights; KK and Ktn. tawaf KLIA mcm itu airport rumah kami o.

haa. ni bulum berpisah lagi. masih huhahuha.. skalii sudah mo boarding, daddy mummy sent me to my departure gate. ktorg sebelah-sebelah jak. orang lain pun pandang pelik, syiok o parents hantar sampai dekat departure gate. ceh padahal dorg d sebelah jak. our takeoff time pun lebih kurang. mine 635 while their was 700. end up, sama-sama takeoff. my flight delayed. ngok betul. sakit ati den. bagus btul mas mo tunggu passengers lagi. selalunya tinggalkan jak.

hehe.. so i guess that's all from me. i know, i still owe few posts on Istanbul. sabar ba jo. banyak tu gambar. nanti sia ada masa sia update. sia ndak boleh tidur ni padahal tadi kemain nguap..
