Changi and Istanbul - Part I

Salam People.

Just feel like reminiscing the memory to Changi and Istanbul. I did update a little bit on my sojourn stay in Changi International Airport. But i was like so lazy to write and write. Only shared some pictures, and it was all about Changi. Hence to reminisce the one year memory, i have decided to update more this time. heee. Can't believe it has been one year since then. And I miss Istanbul so much. Not much we have explored. Hoping for more trips, and get to explore more about the other side of Turkey.

alright, this was taken before i perform my solat. it was at T1. I was walking dreadfully and waiting for my colleague to arrive. Sir Nazif advised us not to make such suspicious expressions or you might get caught. so for safety purpose, i decided to hide myself at the surau.

Stayed there from 5pm (local time) until 7pm. then, made my way to the express stay to get my bath. (Gila ndak mandi? last mandi jam 10am di KK.. and if ndak mandi that time sambil tunggu 10jam untuk mandi di Istanbul memang gila wangi...) Hence, i took my bath.. Was very careful since i was using public shower room. but actually, the shower was tiptop. took my sweeeeet time though i was actually scared. haha..

After bath, made my way to dinner. i was quite skeptical with the food there, didn't even know which outlet was selling Halal food. Hence, i went to have McD. funny.. went to Singapore and had McD, just as if Malaysia have no McD outlets. well... that was the best choice i think? Same scenario like when i took my bath. took veryy sweeeeeet time finish one burger, fries and coke. and i look at the time. my colleague just about to take off i guess? I agak-agak his time to reach Singapore, then made my way slowly to T2. Passengers from KL were expected to arrive at T2. While riding the Skytrain, i really took sweet time and took the opportunity to look around. It was cool, I swear!

hah.. kau ada? Changi International Airport ada Tiger ok? Jangan macam-macam. Kena ngap sia tia tauk!

Ada hutan in the middle of the airport. Cantik kan? Environment Friendly betul.

T2

Yaa. this was at T3. i was waiting for itu budak - Juju.. mode of communication? facebook.ngahaha

Finally jumpa ni budak. sudah cakap tunggu dekat public computers depan arrival T3.. ndak tauk dia pg ronggeng d mana..

Ayu jak kan? wore waxi amik fefeeeling Arab2 la kunun. kahkahkah. mata sepet ndak sedar diri mo jadi Arab.

                           

Time to Go.. before we left, we need to be checked by the airport officers. i was hold for a while. CIS. that girl raba-raba me. konghajaq. tapi apapun , nasib still get to fly. or else, nangis sorg-sorg ngenang nasib d kota singa itu.

i think we were somewhere around India this time.

tadaaa. touched down. i somewhat saw Malaysia Airlines aircraft. Proud to be Malaysian. :)

tada.. yours truly. was so tired. this was when we waited for our driver to take us to our hotel. that dude came late. me and juju were like so scared and been thinking how to reach them.firstly we went to change our Euro dollar to Turkish lira. Then, we decided to buy ourselves local number. after finished purchasing then i saw my name on a piece of paper, which means that was our travel agent. 

List of countries. Do you wish to travel at all places? Hopefully, one day!

the Euro Dollar..

Singapore Dollar - I ought to change some since i had to transit for quite some time. and of course, utk mandi and makan!

Turkish Lira. u can only convert your money to Turks Lira when you're in Turkey.  Most of the money changer in Malaysia and Singapore don't have that currency

had our rest, fresh bath.. and start our journey exploring a little part of Levent. Exploring the types of public transportation they have. Of course, i depend all on this moving GPS - Juju. i settled the accommodation, hence he should be the one arranging places for us to go. kehkehkeh

Even in Istanbul too I'm a famous one.

Even Sabah is in Istanbul. How proud I am. never knew Sabah is "near" to Istanbul. Shall go there again next time. kehkehkeh

fefeeling sungguh! well, we both couldn't hide our identities. People knew we were from Malaysia. eh, Malay-Zia.

We walked from one end to another end and ended up walking to this small area in Levent. We actually wanted to go for food hunting. But we were unsure if the food there is Halal. maybe we still couldn't adapt with the food there and just passed by every stores. We only had Turkish ice cream for dinner, and lots of Sui (water). nothing much on the first day. just walked around and we made our way home to hotel at 8 something. and it was not dark yet. maybe we were so exhausted and jet-lagged, so we didn't go down after that. no idea what does the night atmosphere looks like.


so i guess, that's all for now. will be updating on the rest after this.
