I was still mourning and sad over our beloved Prof's passing (1/10/15).. And to my surprise.. my cousin's wife, who is my cousin in law also passed away on that very Friday (2/10/15).. I may not be close to Kak Dahlia and Abg Norman.. But their daughter (Q) is really close to us, her aunties and uncles..
Kak Dahlia was suffering from Pneumonia. It was the same illness as Arwah Cikgu Sheena (St Jo Kuching - Mama's colleague)..Mama told me Arwah Cikgu Sheena used to bathe at late night. Doctor confirmed that was one of the cause to Pneumonia.. As for Kak Dahlia.. I am not sure about that. I only recalled her suffering from bad skin disease.. Kak Dahlia was a really kind and patient and beautiful mother. Apart from herself, Q's little brother also suffered from chronic illness and Alhamdulillah he recovered.
Q was in Terengganu (Unisza) when her mama passed away in KK.. What made me even sad was to Q did not get to see her mama before her last breathe, and before she was buried. That was really a devastating moment and news for our family. Kak Dahlia was still young, I reckon early 40.
till this day, I still cried thinking of our late prof.. and when I look at Q (through her messages).. I was even heartbroken.. As I am the eldest and closer to her and adek in the East Coast.. I know I am responsible to look after her and her abang achai (which we don't really address ourselves as uncle/aunty)
To abg Norman and family. Kak Dahlia is in good hands now. May Allah grant you and family the strength to face the new awaiting days.
"Kematian tidak mengenal usia.. Cukupkah bekalan kita untuk di sana kelak? Bersediakah kita?
marilah kita bersama-sama bermuhasabah diri.."
Tenanglah dikau sana Kekanda Dahlia. Semoga Allah tempatkan roh arwah dalam kalangan orang yang terpilih.
Al-Fatihah untuk mu, Kak Dahlia.
